HANDS was an architecture and interiors practice founded in Los Angeles in 2016 by Heeyoung Haru Lee.

Over the past decade, the studio worked across residential, multifamily, hospitality, and Civic/Community projects. Projects developed from their particular circumstances—site, use, structure, construction, and the ambitions of the people who would inhabit them. Architecture, interiors, landscape, and furnishings were considered together, as parts of a larger question of how a place might be occupied and lived in.

In 2026, HANDS concluded its practice. I am deeply grateful to the clients, collaborators, consultants, contractors, and friends who trusted me with their projects and made this chapter possible.
