HANDS is a Los Angeles–based architecture and interior design practice founded in 2016. Working across residential, hospitality, multifamily, workplace, and cultural projects, the studio approaches architecture and interiors as a single, continuous discipline. Its work is defined by clarity of space, considered materiality, and an attention to proportion, light, and detail.
Haru Heeyoung Lee
Founder and Principal
Haru Heeyoung Lee is an architect and interior designer whose work moves fluidly between architecture, interiors, and objects. She begins each project with a clear premise for how it should be experienced, using plan, section, proportion, material, light, furnishings, art, and detail to give that idea form and ensure that every element contributes to the whole.
She holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA and is a registered architect in California and Arizona.
